Pipelines & Manholes
|
Benefil can be pumped for long distances, even uphill. Pipes and man-holes filled with Benefil can be re-commissioned later, if required.
To fill pipelines quickly and economically the Uretek company often may turn to Benefil light-weight engineering filler/grout.
Many problems can be solved with Benefil: not only filling pipelines but also a variety of similar void filling situations - including manholes, underground fuel tanks, seawall voids etc
Benefil offers some unique advantages because of its super-light-weight, its economy, resistance to hydrocarbons, solvents and other chemicals and its ability to be pumped over long distances.
Site access problems are alleviated; and it's harmless to the environment.
Filling Abandoned Pipelines
Expanded Benefil can be induced to travel well in excess of 100 metres. It is unique for filling pipelines and conduits.
Residual fluids in the pipeline are forced ahead and expelled.
An abandoned pipeline can be 100% filled, even if only one end is accessible. Uphill or downhill, it makes no difference - Benefil won't run out!
When used to fill the interstitial (annular) space formed by relining the pipeline, the new ‘slip line' will not collapse nor float when being installed.
Soil loss due to ‘infiltration' into the pipe, can be corrected by filling resultant voids from above.
Uretek Ground Engineering
Uretek solves many problems by unique and patented systems of resin injection.
Fast, economical, long-lasting, environmental and with minimal disruption.
