Heritage Buildings

Heritage homestead, St Clair, now Goullburn NSW, Historical Museum, relevelled by Uretek.
Uretek raises, relevels, resupports heritage buildings on various foundations: bluestone, brick, sandstone etc.
The URETEK Method is not confined to correcting concrete footings, although they are often the easiest to deal with. Many Australian heritage jobs have now been successfully completed, involving a wide range of other types of footings: bluestone, sandstone and brick being the most common.
Wall cracks are common in heritage buildings. Usually they close up as footings are relevelled, so that often all that is required to complete the restoration is plastering and paint or repointing of outside brickwork. We say 'usually close up' because sometimes major mis-alignments may have occured in the building structure to prevent full closure and sometimes an accumulation of grit, rubble or patching will prevent the cracked element coming together.
Historic heritage buildings feature heavily in the list: churches, (such as the one here with brick footings), schools, town halls and cottages.
Uretek’s unique and patented process of Deep Injection very frequently plays a major role in such heritage restoration by renewing and increasing ground support for the old structures.
Building height and weight is typically no problem for Uretek: immense, controlled pressure can be used when it is required.
Much Uretek work has been carried out successsfully relevelling bluestone footings in Victoria especially, and sandstone and brick footings in many and various areas.
In suitable conditions Uretek Deep Injection can produce a similar effect to the heritage building footings going down to bedrock.
