Service Station Driveway Relevelled

The Uretek Method of concrete slab raising is well demonstrated by this recent example. The task was to correct ponding of rain water on the forecourt, plus driveway and parking area relevelling.

This Sydney service station had new fuel tanks installed and was suffering from major ponding of rain water on the forecourt.

The slabs had settled up to 80 mm due to incomplete compaction of the sand fill around the tanks. The ponding had become a major problem.

The driveway was relevelled quickly and economically

In less than half a day the Uretek team had injected their multi-component structural resin to further compact the ground, fill any voids and lift the slabs back to their correct positions.

Driveway relevelled without any interruption to business!

Remarkably, the service station was able to remain fully operational throughout the operation. Even heavy trucks were able to run over the newly raised areas half an hour after they were lifted.
