Culvert Problems Fixed

 PAVEMENT REHABILITATION: Uretek resupports and relevels road areas above culverts, compacting fill and sealing leaks.

Road problems with culverts are often coming to Uretek attention these days. Fines can be washed into the culverts through joints and construction bolt-holes. The sub-grade fill has sometimes been inadequately compacted because of the proximity of the culvert.

So the road pavement becomes unsupported and settles over time, breaking up and eventually becoming a ‘Ski Jump’.

Uretek has developed a pattern for Deep Injection of expanding structural resins to compact the fill beside and above the culverts and seal off the penetrations that were allowing wash-aways.

Pavement itself is relevelled and resupported by Uretek Slab Lifting.

Working with one lane at a time and/or at night, Uretek work causes the least possible inconvenience to traffic flow on the road above the culvert.

And all traffic can resume just 30 minutes after Uretek treatment is completed.

The URETEK Method is increasingly being employed worldwide to rectify concrete and asphalt pavement problems - raising and resupporting major highways, suburban streets, bridge abutment slabs as well as culverts.
