Minimal Downtime When Uretek Relevels Mine Structures

Conveyer belt pedestal bases and many other massive structures can be raised, re-levelled and re-supported by Uretek resin injection. Sometimes weak strata need to be strengthened at a depth of 14 metres or more. That is no problem. 

Great weight is not a problem either: it’s an advantage, as it allows greater compaction of the foundation ground.

Uretek injection is an effective way to eliminate trip hazards and correct out-of-level structures. Uretek rectification can also often remove the need for replacing slabs and structural elements, so saving both time lost from production and the cost of replacement.

In The Pilbara, WA, we have corrected multiple deformations in rails carrying ‘monster' stacker-reclaimers.  In The Hunter, we have also relevelled deformed stacker-reclaimer rails that prevented loading vast quantities of stockpiled coal.

In another remote Western Australian mine, we have strengthened the ground and lifted 1500 mm thick concrete indexer rail slabs servicing 2 kilometre long iron ore trains carrying over 200 tonnes per wagon.

We have strengthened escape shafts, relevelled massive steel tower structures, re-plumbed silos and treated deteriorating workshop floors that service 100 tonne dump trucks.
